Taken at the Riverside Park in Chester-le-Street
This may not be the sharpest image but I like the action of the bird joining the others.
A winding path that winds its way around the nearby cricket ground.
The shapes and textures are interesting, especially with areas that are in focus and areas that are not in focus.
What I believe is invasive giant hogweed - this plant is highly toxic and should not be touched. There is a lot of it along the riverbanks of the River Wear in Chester-le-Street.

Even in November, the mild Autumn has allowed a few flowers to hang on.
Using the tripod to create some interesting long exposures with my partner. Great fun :)
These steps take you towards Durham Train Station. I exposed the image for 13 seconds.
Taken at Durham City
County Hall in Durham City is lit up in red with a large poppy projected onto the building. Amazing sight and amazing tribute to all those who were lost or suffered in conflict.
